Kickstarter and Indiegogo are hotbeds of innovation.

There’s always something new, from games to consumer electronics, gadgets, and accessories, just a click away. Each month, I’m awed by the ideas people have worked to create.

Some projects my team is proud to come alongside. Others I learn more about through my podcast, Art of the Kickstart. Still many others I learn about like you do, as a backer or bystander.

Here are some of my favorite projects from June. If you see projects you think I should take a closer look at in July, please send them my way!

The Peaks Crystal Whiskey Glass — Kickstarter

There are dozens of whiskey glasses on the market, but these are functional and artistic. The Peaks Crystal Whiskey Glass is sculpted from X1 Crystalline and resembles one of four iconic mountains: Denali, Mont Blanc, K2 and Mt. Fuji. If you’ve seen my office, you’ve noticed I appreciate practical items that double as art. This glass fits the bill. The glass automatically chills your drink and can be used for various drinks, not just whiskey. This would be the perfect present to treat yourself with.

SuperMini GO — Indiegogo

I’m generally on the go, and although my battery lasts longer than most, I’m pushing it some days. I need a SuperMini GO on my adventures. This wireless power bank is perfect for home and travel. It can charge your phone up to 50% in less than 30 minutes and works with a wide range of USB-C phones, tablets and more. It also has a magnetic docking mechanism that allows you quite literally to charge on the go. If you’re out for long periods of time like me or always forgetting to charge your phone, invest in a SuperMini GO today.

SunnySide — Kickstarter

Do you remember back to school season growing up? If you are like my girls, there’s something fun about getting a new lunchbox. We’ve got quite the collection in my house, but they’re all basic iterations of a simple box to carry items in. There’s no fancy heater or cooler, so we always had to pack a thermos if foods were to be kept hot. SunnySide alleviates the need for a separate container to regulate temperature. This smart lunch box preserves your meal at its ideal temperature and doesn’t require batteries. It’s entirely solar-powered. With this, we’ll never have to buy another thermos or lunchbox again.

Salt Stone — Indiegogo

I’m a fan of all sorts of health products, especially ones I can use from the comfort of my own home. The Salt Stone provides allergy relief, boosted immunity and cleaner lungs in just a few minutes every day. It helps you harness a natural remedy for everyday problems. Dry Salt Therapy has been around for a while, and this just puts it into a convenient shape that fits in with your lifestyle. Anyone can use this type of therapy, from those with asthma and allergies to those with respiratory infections and smoking-related breathing problems. The Salt Stone might just be the remedy you need.

FEND SUPER — Kickstarter

I mountain bike all the time, and sometimes the paths I go on are tricky. My wife always reminds me to wear my helmet, but it’s not always convenient. Sometimes traveling with a helmet can be a pain, but with FEND SUPER, it doesn’t have to be. This foldable and portable helmet has safety lights and is safety certified. The helmet folds down by 50% and is sure to keep my head safe while I brave the trails. FEND SUPER would put my wife’s mind at ease and would be a worthy investment for anyone looking to be safe on the go.

Kaffelogic Nano 7 — Indiegogo

This one’s for all my coffee lovers. Kaffelogic Nano 7 is a personal coffee roaster. It is a compact and precise home coffee roaster with the capabilities of a commercial roaster. Kaffelogic Nano 7 isn’t new, but having launched in other countries in 2019, this machine is finally available in the United States. This tried and true product would make itself right at home on your coffee cart.

These six innovations have inspired me. Which products stood out to you?
